Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Fort Wayne, IN. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and work with radiologists to obtain diagnostic-quality images while adhering to safety standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS. ARRT certification is preferred, with additional licenses potentially required depending on facilities.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred ARRT Certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position

Responsabilités

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain imaging process
• Set technical parameters to optimize image quality
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
• Document patient information and imaging parameters accurately
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities
• Perform other duties within CT Tech scope
