Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Reston, Virginia. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and the chance to gain diverse experience while delivering quality patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties within the CT Tech scope.
