Job summary

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist in Redding, CA, to perform high-quality CT imaging with a focus on patient safety in a dynamic clinical setting.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of CT experience, ARRT and BLS certifications, and the ability to work 10-hour shifts on a 40-hour week, including weekends. Travel position with orientation and safety training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years CT experience; 1st-time travelers may be considered.
• Required Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ARRT Certification, Fluoroscopy certification through the state of California
• Experience in a Level II Trauma setting preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans in accordance with established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, including Cerner EMR, Philips iPatient 64, and big bore 16.
• Work in collaboration with the Radiology team in various settings, including OR and ER.
• Participate in departmental orientation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
