Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist in Amarillo, Texas. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, with 4x10 evening shifts and a focus on high-volume CT, CTA, and perfusion studies in a teaching/community hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of CT experience, ARRT-R, and TX license (or compact). Travel experience is preferred; on-site, evenings, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM shifts with patient transport duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year CT Technologist experience.
• ARRT-R and BLS certifications required.
• TX state license or compact license required.
• Experience with CT scanners and contrast media administration.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume CT, CTA, perfusion, and CT Cardiac studies.
• Work with Siemens Somatom AS and Canon Aquilon One scanners.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Be comfortable with perfusion scanning for stroke/trauma.
• Provide imaging in acute care, outpatient, and ED settings.
• Block schedule Tue-Fri, 4x10 evening shifts 2:00 PM–12:00 AM.
