Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract assignment in Summerville, South Carolina. You will operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images used to diagnose medical conditions.

Requirements include 18 months CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, state licensure where required, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Travel benefits and weekly pay are provided.

Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• Must be ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls of CT equipment, monitor equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, label and store images properly.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical duties.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe, patient-focused environment with timely, compassionate care.
