American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a CT Technologist for a free-standing ED imaging department in Florida. The role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and 1+ year CT experience with GE equipment.

The position supports ER imaging with 3 CT scanners, a 4x10 shift pattern, and a department-led team. Local Florida candidates are not accepted; candidates outside a 50-mile radius are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification and BLS are required.
• Florida license is required if applicable.
• Minimum 1 year CT experience required.
• GE equipment experience is required.
• Trauma and stroke imaging experience is required.
• Terra Recon or reformat experience on another platform preferred.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• Two professional references required for Florida candidates.
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Operate across a free-standing ED imaging unit with 3 CT scanners.
• Overnight shift coverage with 2 techs on duty.
• Equipment includes 2 GE and 1 Siemens CT scanners.
• Documentation systems include Meditech and GE Centricity.
• Shift: 4x10s, Mon-Thu 9:00 PM–7:30 AM; no weekends.
• May float to the main imaging department as needed.
• Support ER with turnaround times for stroke and trauma cases.
• Perform standard CT scans; no invasive CT procedures on this shift.
• Minimal, voluntary call.
• Adhere to AIDET and maintain patient-focused care.
• Lead a tenured department with strong leadership.
• Dress code: solid-colored scrubs; no navy/purple.
