Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience to join a large hospital imaging department in Asheville, NC. The position covers diagnostic and invasive CT procedures, including ED trauma and stroke imaging, using GE CT systems.

The assignment runs 26 weeks with a Fri-Sun, 6:30 PM–7:00 AM schedule. Travel-friendly benefits are included, with potential rotations and call time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Proficiency in all areas of CT imaging including diagnostic and invasive scans.
• Experience with ED trauma and stroke imaging required.
• GE equipment experience, invasive CT, cardiac imaging, and venipuncture skills preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated team player able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Radiology/CT Scan department within a large hospital setting.
• FRI-SUN schedule, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 26-week assignment.
• Equipment includes GE Optima, 3 GE EVO units, GE Revolution, and Medrad Injectors.
• EMR systems include Cerner RadNet and Philips PACS.
• Possible weekend shifts and rotation to another shift.
• Potential call of up to 12 hours per month.
• Patient population includes pediatric, cardiac, neuro, MSK, body imaging, and invasive procedures.
• Perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures including neuro, MSK, body, cardiac, and pediatric imaging.
• Black scrubs required.
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
