Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Bethesda, Maryland. The CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, prepares patients, and works with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.

This role requires state-licensed radiology credentials and active BLS certification. Compensation includes highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits; 24/7 recruiter support and licensure reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license per state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients.
• Set technical parameters to demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging parameters in hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech practice.
