Travel responsibilities include CT imaging, patient positioning, contrast administration assistance, and collaboration with radiologists. Eligible candidates should have 18 months of CT experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as required by state.

Qualifikationen

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.
• Most states require licensure.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Aufgaben

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls of CT equipment and monitor the patient, making adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, IVs and contrast administration when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast for CT scans.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images appropriately.
• Schedule patients and assist with clerical functions as needed.
• Charge procedures to patient records and manage supplies.
• Operate power injections for contrast media and ensure patient safety.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
