Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift at a 700-bed teaching hospital. The role requires ARRT (R)(CT) or R.T.(R) and NMTCB(CT) certification, plus NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License and NY Injection Registration. 1+y experience preferred, BLS required, and references needed.

The position involves CT work on GE imaging equipment, with night hours 11:00 PM–7:00 AM and every-other-weekend shifts; local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.

Qualifications

• Current NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License required.
• NY Injection Registration/Certification required; physician sign-off on observed competency may be considered.
• ARRT(R) CT or RT(R) and NMTCB(CT) certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2+ years strongly preferred.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work at a 700-bed teaching hospital campus.
• Night shift schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• CT Technologists must also be willing to perform X-ray duties.
• GE imaging equipment used.
• Candidates with NY State Injection Registration/Certification already in hand are preferred.
• 2+ years of experience preferred.
• Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate.
• Prior work history at this health system will be reviewed for eligibility to return.
