Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Portsmouth, Virginia. You will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and ensure image quality while working with radiologists to support accurate diagnoses.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ARRT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients safely.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
