Job summary

TotalMed Allied in Columbus, OH is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment. The role involves performing CT scans, preparing patients, and ensuring high-quality images for interpretation. This 13-week travel position requires 1 year of CT experience and relevant certifications.

The CT Tech will use imaging equipment, manage contrast administration, and maintain records while adhering to radiation safety. Travel staffing flexibility and week-by-week scheduling are involved.

Qualifications

• 1 year of CT experience required.
• BLS, ARRT (CT) certification and CT registration required.
• State licensing may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and explain CT procedures to patients.
• Position patients and perform CT scans to obtain diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Review requests and ensure image quality meets standards.
• Maintain patient records and follow radiation safety procedures.
• Familiarity with McKesson PACS system.
