Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel CT Tech for a 13-week assignment in Bridgeport, West Virginia. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, ensure imaging protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Candidates must have one year of CT experience, a valid radiology license, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within CT Tech practice.
