Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Bend, Oregon. The role requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and Level II Trauma Center experience, with Epic EMR proficiency and at least 1 year of CT experience.

Duties include performing abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine, and chest CT scans on a 4x10 hour day schedule in an acute care environment. The unit uses GE scanners, Sectra PACS, and Epic EMR, with swing shifts and occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience.
• ARRT CT and BLS certification required; license required if applicable.
• Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma, teaching hospital, and community hospital experience preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Skilled in image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.
• Experience with contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and venipuncture.
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
• Complete 7-year work history required, including all employment gaps explained.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT studies across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest.
• Support procedures such as brain perfusion, colonography, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and transplant studies.
