Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Homer, Alaska. The CT Tech will operate CT scanners, position patients, and ensure high‑quality imaging under radiologist supervision. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, ensuring safety, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to support timely diagnostics.

Required are one year CT experience, Radiology license, and BLS certification. Preference given to ARRT certification.

Qualifications

• One year of recent CT Technologist experience.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients and position them for procedures.
• Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high‑quality images to Radiologist for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information and imaging details in the hospital system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
