Preferred Healthcare Staffing seeks a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Santa Cruz, CA. You will perform CT scans in an acute care setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort while coordinating with physicians to capture diagnostic images.

Requirements include ARRT certification, California radiologic license, a two-year program in radiologic technology, CPR/BLS, IV puncture skills, and at least 2 years of CT experience within the last 5 years. Nights, 40 hours/week.

Qualificações

• Completion of a two-year program at an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed by the California Radiologic Health Branch - Certificate and Fluoroscopy Certificate.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Possess the ability to perform IV punctures and be skilled with Computed Tomography Equipment.
• Current CPR/ BLS certification.
• 2 years of CT experience required within the last 5 years.

Responsabilidades

• Obtain patient history, explain routine procedures, and address patient concerns.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures by explaining the process and positioning patients to correctly capture the images requested by physician.
• Perform computed tomography scans using designated equipment.
