Job summary

TotalMed Allied is actively seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Pierre, South Dakota. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification, and BLS, with licensing as required by the state. Expect 40 hours per week, evenings, with a 10-hour shift and travel compensation.

You will perform CT imaging, ensure patient safety, and use McKesson PACS while supporting excellent patient care. Benefits include weekly pay and tax-free stipends per assignment details.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• Requires ARRT (CT) Certification and BLS.
• CT techs must stand/walk for long periods and understand anatomy and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests; explain procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' instructions accurately.
• Position patients for CT scans of specified body areas.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain patient records.
• Use McKesson PACS system.
