Qualifications

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certified
• Most states require licensure
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Position CT technologist and operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images.
• Position patients for CT scans with immobilization and safety measures.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures and contrast administration where applicable.
• Evaluate CT images for quality and label appropriately.
• Schedule procedures and perform related clerical tasks.
• Maintain a safe and patient-focused environment.
