The ideal candidate holds NYS licensure, ARRT certification, and two years of CT experience, with BLS and telemetry background. Travel benefits include weekly pay and medical coverage.

Qualifications

• Licensed in NYS with injection therapy certification on license at submission.
• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology and ARRT-certified.
• NYS licensure required prior to starting.
• Two years of experience in radiologic imaging.
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to scan, adhering to safety policies.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.

• Position patients, assist with mobility, and ensure safe handling.
• Document in EPIC and ensure images reach PACS after exam.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

LanceSoft is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York.

CT Technologist Duties and Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan; strictly adhering to department policy and procedure for patient safety
• Coordinate with physicians to provide diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain the procedure tohelp them feel comfortable.
• Insert IVs when necessary for the test.
• Positions patients accordingly, which may include lifting or moving patients with limited mobility; must utilize safe patient handling.
• Maintains accurate patient record keeping by properly documenting all necessary components within EPIC to include identifying images and assuring images are sent to the PACS system correctly upon exam completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe scanning facility.

Requirements

• HCP’s currently registered in NYS will be required to have injection therapy certification stated on their license at time of submission
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology and maintains Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NYS licensure (must obtain PRIOR to starting position)
• Two (2) Years' Experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center Experience
• BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Telemetry
• Day 1 Dental, Health, Vision insurance. Referral bonus and extension bonus.

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
