TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Barrington, Illinois. The role runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, evenings shift, start 10/05/2026. This travel position requires CT specialty skills and EPIC EMR experience, with travel benefits provided.

The department handles ED, inpatient and outpatient cases, including stroke, chest, trauma, and procedural imaging. Parking is available and shift coverage is in a 8-hour evening block.

Qualifications

• BLS and RT( R)(CT) certifications required
• Experience with GE CT scanners and EPIC EMR systems
• IV starts, stroke and chest pain workups, trauma

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures per orders
• Ensure patient safety and image quality
• Coordinate with department staff to maintain workflow

Minimum Years of Experience required? 2 required, 3 preferred
Will you accept a first-time traveler? yes if well qualified

Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: BLS, RT (R)(CT), IEMA

Technology/Equipment:
EMR: EPIC
Department specific Equipment: GE CT scanners. Experience required

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: ED, Inpatient, Outpatient, stroke, chest, procedural, trauma

Skills required: IV starts, stroke and chest pain work ups, trauma

Floating: If yes, where? None

Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend
On call? Yes 8-week rotation, discussed in interview
Holiday Expectations: per unit needs
RTO: Manager to approve
Shift times: 10-1830
Schedule cycle: 8 weeks
