• 2+ years CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• 2+ years X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm.
• Experience working with all age groups.
• NH Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License or ability to obtain with equivalent state licensure.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients on the examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal views.
• Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Move radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions; set exposure factors.
• Operate film processing equipment and handle mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment.
• Practice radiation protection to minimize exposure for patients and staff.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and imaging management.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist with high proficiency in both specialties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

• Position patients on the examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimal views of the specified body areas as requested by the physician.
• Capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Move radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment into specified positions; set exposure factors including time and distance using equipment controls.
• Operate film processing equipment and handle mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in various settings, including operating rooms and emergency rooms.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for both patients and staff members.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills while interacting with patients and colleagues.
• Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and imaging management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• 2+ years of current X-Ray Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficiency in Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm.

• Possession of a New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License or ability to obtain it easily with equivalent state licensure.
• Previous travel experience is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Dress Code

• Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with a lab coat, or basic plain personal scrubs.
• No hooded sweatshirts.
• Closed-toe shoes such as sneakers or clogs.
• Hair must be worn pulled back if longer than shoulder length, and no dangling earrings are permitted.

Additional Information

Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at the time of submission. A maximum of five days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers are expected to work two blocks during major holidays, including:

• Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday
• Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend
• New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the following weekend
