Job Description & Requirements

Shift & Schedule

• 2 positions available, 13 week assignments
• Position 1: 36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts on Friday/Saturday/Sunday
• Position 2: 40 hours per week, 4x10 or 5x8 shifts

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.
• Demonstrates competence, as determined by competency assessments, in a variety of imaging equipment and technology.
• Practices proper safety guidelines for themselves, support personnel, and patients.
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
• Ensures a high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
• Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
• Performs other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.

Required Skills & Experience

• Organized, efficient, and multifunctional.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths, and respond to an on-call pager that may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Preferred Education: N/A

Certifications & Licensure

• ARRT certified in Radiography.
• Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure).
• BLS.
• Preferred: ARRT (CT).
• Manager required: ARRT R and BLS; ARRT CT preferred.
