TotalMed Allied seeks a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hermiston, Oregon. The position runs 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts. Immediate start, 10-hour shifts, travel status, and a tax-free stipend are noted.

1 year of CT experience and ARRT CT registration are required, with BLS and state licensing as applicable. Responsibilities include patient positioning, image acquisition, radiocontrast administration, PACS usage, and ensuring safety and documentation.

• BLS and ARRT (CT) certification with active CT registration.
• State licensing where required for CT technologists.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; good anatomy knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions for imaging procedures.
• Position patients correctly to scan targeted body areas.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as prescribed.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain accurate patient records and PACS entries.

We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Hermiston, OR. The right CT Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required.

CT Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop easily. CT Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
