Job Summary

CT Technologist New Britain, CT. The CT Technologist performs computed tomography imaging for emergency department and inpatient populations during a high-volume second shift. The role includes trauma imaging, intravenous access initiation, computed tomography perfusion studies, and operation of advanced imaging and injector equipment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Radiology computed tomography certification; active Connecticut radiology license; Level 3 trauma experience; proficiency with computed tomography scanners, injectors, intravenous access initiation, computed tomography perfusion studies, image archiving and communication systems, and related imaging software.
• Schedule: Evening shift, 10 hours per shift, 4 days per week, totaling 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday with weekend and holiday rotation; 1:00 PM11:00 PM.
• Additional Information: The second shift is the busiest shift and typically includes 3050 patients per day, primarily from the emergency department and inpatient units. The role utilizes computed tomography scanners, injectors, image archiving and communication systems, electronic medical records, and advanced image-processing software.
