Job summary

Shifts consist of 10-hour varied shifts.

Experience Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.

Certifications and Licensure

• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
• Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT) is required.
• A current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer is required prior to the start of the assignment.

Job Description

Candidates without an active State of Hawaii license must apply for one upon acceptance of the offer. Proof of flu vaccination or an approved medical or religious exception will be needed prior to the contract start date. The flu vaccination can be administered during the employee health clearance appointment.

General Responsibilities

The selected candidate must demonstrate the ability to perform routine CT scans and function independently without supervision following radiologist protocols. Additional responsibilities may include:

• Scanning according to established protocols
• Using Meditech EMR and operating Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation
• Performing procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular imaging, and cardiac imaging
• Conducting trauma or stroke imaging when necessary

Additional Requirements

• A minimum of two years' experience in an acute hospital setting is preferred.
• Experience with venipuncture and advanced imaging techniques (MIP, MPR, 3D imaging) is a plus.
• Holiday coverage will be required.

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
