The ideal candidate holds an Associate's Degree in radiologic technology, ARRT certification, and BLS. EPIC experience and state licensure are valued, with travel assignments across the U.S. affecting scheduling and shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Three years' technical experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) in state of practice required.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current modality certification and ability to perform at least one other modality required.

Responsibilities

• Operates x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment.
• Helps department meet objectives and goals.
• Maintains safe patient transport and transfers.
• Regularly performs three modalities.
• Tests defibrillator and crash cart, prepares contrast agents.

Job Summary: Responsible for the operation of x-ray, computed tomography, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine and/or mammography equipment. Assists in accomplishing departmental objectives and goals. Helps create an environment that enables the medical imaging department to meet operational goals. Performs at least three of the modalities listed on a regular basis. Performs three modalities competently. Safely transports and transfers patients between gurneys and wheelchairs. Tests defibrillator and checks the integrity of crash cart. Performs mobile imaging examinations as necessary. Safely prepares contrast agents for Medical Imaging procedures. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
