Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week night-shift travel assignment in Boise, Idaho. You will perform CT scans across body parts, including pediatric and cardiac imaging, and assist with biopsies, drains, and ablations within a main campus setting.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT and BLS certifications, with at least 1 year of CT experience and proficiency with Siemens CT scanners. IV starts, strong patient care, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Includes biopsies, drains and ablations as part of the CT protocol.
• Average caseload of 3–40 scans per 10-hour shift.
• Uses EPIC EMR; McKesson PACS experience preferred but not required.
• Night shifts, 4x10hrs, with on-call and weekend coverage as assigned.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment in an acute care hospital setting, requiring ARRT (CT) certification and at least 1 year of experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the CT Scan department, ground floor
• 3 CT scanners: Siemens Drive, Siemens Force, and Canon Prime SP
• Performs CT scans of all body parts, pediatric imaging, cardiac scans, and procedures such as biopsies, drains, and ablations
• Average caseload of 3-40 scans per 10-hour shift
• Uses EPIC EMR; McKesson PACS experience preferred but not required
• 10 or 12-hour night shifts, assigned schedule with no blocked requests
• Initial schedule is Mon-Thurs 1900-0500, transitioning to Fri-Sun 1800-0730 for the remainder of the contract
• Weekend shifts required as scheduled
• On-call available if agreed upon in advance
• Works only at the main campus with no floating to other locations
• Lead tech and supervisor present during weekday daytime hours
• In-house radiologist support available

• Returning employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before applying for a travel assignment
