MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Neillsville, Wisconsin. The position requires 18 months of CT Tech experience, ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification, and licensure as needed. Hours are 40 per week with night shifts, and the assignment lasts 13 weeks.

Qualified candidates will work independently within a team, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Housing and travel reimbursements are provided as part of the benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans and ensure proper immobilization and safety protocols.
• Set controls on CT equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and adjust as needed.
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures and contrast administration if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans when required.
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT images for quality and label/sequence properly.
• Schedule patients and support clerical tasks related to procedures.
• Record charges for procedures and supplies in the patient record.
• Operate power injectors for contrast media administration.
• Deliver high-quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Support a safe, patient-focused environment aligned with safety initiatives.

Duties Responsibilities

CT technologists, operate CT equipment, which produces cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.

• Positioning patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
• Appropriately setting the controls of the related equipment, monitoring equipment and patient, making adjustments as necessary
• Assisting radiologist with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable
• Dispensing oral contrast to patients for CT scans
• Assisting radiologist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluating CT scans for technical quality, collating processed images in sequence of exposure and appropriately labeling
• Scheduling patients for procedures and assisting with some clerical functions
• Charging procedures and supplies used to the patient record
• Loading and operating power injections for contrast media administration
• Delivers quality, cost effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Works effectively to maintain an environment of excellence, which is patient focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality patient care.
• Promotes and maintains a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
