CT Technologist – Santa Cruz, CA

Shift: 10-Hour Nights
Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 contract weeks available)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (3 shifts for assignments under 13 weeks)

Facility Details:

• Charting System: Cerner (McKesson PACS)
• 2 scanners: Siemens Sensation 64 & GE 16 LightSpeed
• 10–20 scans per shift, evenings busiest
• Common cases: ER patients, virtual colonography, gated procedures, general CT
• Radiologist not on-site 24/7 — Nighthawk used for night shift
• Hospitalist/Intensivist in-house
• 3–4 shift radiology floor-specific orientation
• Same hours worked into holiday rotation as weekends
• Scrub Color: Teal

Requirements:

• CA RN/RT license required (License to Submit: Yes)
• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) required
• Active BLS certification required
• Crisis Protocol Approved
• Fluoro required
• BSN not required
