Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Scranton, PA. Start date 09/28/2026, 40 hours per week, nights. This travel role offers a tax-free stipend and weekly pay, with benefits.

The CT Tech must have ARRT CT, BLS, and 1 year of CT experience; state licensing may be required. You will perform imaging, patient positioning, contrast administration, quality evaluation, and PACS usage.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT experience.
• Must have BLS, ARR T (CT) certification with registration where required.
• State licensing when required may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients.
• Position patients to scan specified body areas.
• Capture diagnostic images using CT equipment.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use McKesson PACS system.

We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Scranton, PA. The right CT Tech must have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state-specific licensing when required.

CT Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop easily. CT Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
