Trinity Health FirstChoice in Livonia, MI is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The role offers 3x12 hour nights with flexible local and travel opportunities and premium compensation.

You will join FirstChoice CT Techs to support the health system across multiple locations. The ideal candidate holds ARRT CT registration, an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, an associate degree or higher, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher required.
• Eighteen (18) months of CT experience required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by ARRT.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations.
• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.

Responsibilities

• Review physician orders, prepare patient, position and perform CT imaging.
• Work with CT leadership and Radiologist to produce diagnostic images per protocols.
• Operate imaging equipment to obtain designated body part images using ALARA techniques.
• Collaborate with unit staff and FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced-based care.

What you will Do

• FirstChoice CT Techs are utilized to fill short and long-term assignments throughout the health system, and we need you to be a part of this innovative program!

Responsibilities

• The CT Technologist is responsible for reviewing the Physician Order and reason for exam, preparing the patient, positioning, and performing CT imaging of patients.

• The CT Technologist works closely with CT leadership and the Radiologist to produce the most diagnostic images possible in accordance with the department protocols.

• Operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain images of the designated body portions for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.

• Collaborate with members of assigned unit as well as FirstChoice colleagues to deliver evidenced based care within a healing culture for patients as well as families.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher required.

• Eighteen (18) months of CT experience required.

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registered as a CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. (Note: American Heart Association certifications only accepted.)

• Willingness to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations.

• Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
