Description

American Traveler is hiring a Multi-Modality Radiology Technologist for a critical access hospital, requiring 2+ years of current acute care CT experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• Critical access hospital with 24/7 emergency care and a 25-bed capacity
• Radiology unit serving pediatric to geriatric patients
• 3x12hr Night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
• Every weekend required
• On-call as needed
• Equipment includes Philips DR room, Siemens Luminos Agile2, Fuji DR GO Portables, C-arms (OEC Elite, GE 9900 plus, MiniView, Brivo), and Toshiba Prime 80 CT scanner
• Uses Meditech RIS and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Compact license accepted

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years current acute care hospital experience required, with CT experience specifically noted
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• NH State Medical Imaging License required, and must be in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• High proficiency in C-Arm, Fluoroscopy, PACS, and IV Placement required
• Current CT Skills Checklist within the past year required
• Current Rad Tech Skills Checklist within the past year required
• One supervisory reference from the past year of employment required
• Travel experience of at least 6 months highly preferred

Additional Information

• Perform specialized technical duties including setting up radiography equipment, positioning patients, and acquiring diagnostic radiographs for detection, diagnosis, and evaluation of pathology
• Duties performed across a variety of settings including surgery and portable x-ray
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted, no denim, closed toe shoes required
• Housing in the area can be a challenge and should be explored prior to accepting the assignment
• Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility
• No more than 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment
