Qualifications

Job Summary

The CT Technologist position is based in an imaging services department specializing in computed tomography (CT) and general radiography. The role involves performing a variety of imaging exams for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations, utilizing advanced equipment and adhering to departmental protocols. Candidates will work on a night shift schedule, providing essential imaging services in a fast‑paced acute care setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 10‑hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certification as a CT Technologist - ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) in CT; Radiologic Technologist - ARRT; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; minimum of 1 year of experience in CT and X‑ray modalities; valid license to submit; location outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prefer experience with Siemens CT and X‑ray equipment, knowledge of protocols and doctor preferences, and experience with EPIC EMR and McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS systems.
• Additional Information: The department performs diverse imaging studies including ER, inpatient, outpatient exams, stroke certification, trauma, and limited inpatient procedures. Department‑specific equipment includes Philips and Siemens systems. Orientation lasts 1‑3 days, extendable if needed. Candidates may be required to float temporarily to other imaging areas for coverage.
