Job Summary

CT Technologist CT. The CT Technologist performs computed tomography, X-ray, and fluoroscopy procedures in a moderately busy, full-service imaging department serving primarily outpatient and emergency department patients. The role includes operating room cases, including pacemaker and orthopedic procedures, and requires a fluoroscopy permit in hand before submission.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Two years of experience; American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsComputed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; fluoroscopy permit in hand before submission; compact license in hand at submission; community hospital experience; operating room experience; experience with portable imaging, C-arm procedures, extremity imaging, abdominal and gastrointestinal procedures, fluoroscopy studies, lower and upper extremity procedures, enema studies, and surgical C-arm procedures.
• Preferred Qualifications: Adult acute care and adult intensive care unit experience; experience with thoracentesis and paracentesis.
• Schedule: Day shifts consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The clinician will work in computed tomography, X-ray, and fluoroscopy. The imaging department averages approximately 80 examinations per day and includes outpatient, emergency department, and operating room cases. The fluoroscopy permit must be in hand before submission.
