Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Tomahawk, Wisconsin. The role entails performing diagnostic CT imaging, ensuring patient safety, and providing patient explanations during scanning procedures.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Radiologic Technology, ARRT certification (CT preferred), an active state license, BLS (ACLS preferred), and 1–2 years of radiology experience with CT imaging.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire diagnostic CT images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Explain scanned procedures to patients and obtain consent when required.
• Ensure radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.
• Evaluate CT scans for image quality and adequacy for diagnosis.

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,596 - $2,769 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• PM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
