American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The candidate should have 2–3 years of hospital CT experience, BLS, and ARRT-CT certification, with familiarity using GE equipment and EPIC EMR.

Shifts are 12 hours long, 36 hours per week, with weekend coverage (Saturday/Sunday/Monday), no floating, and no call. The assignment includes inpatient, outpatient, and ER imaging, including calcium scoring and CTA perfusion studies.

Qualifications

• BLS and ARRT-CT certification required.
• License required if applicable.
• Minimum 2–3 years of CT experience in a hospital setting.
• Experience with GE equipment strongly preferred.
• Experience with general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion, and biopsy/drain procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures on inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients.
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio.
• Work with GE CT scanners (GE Revolution and Evo preferred) and EPIC EMR.
• 6–12 hour shift rotations with 12-hour days.
• No floating or call requirements; weekend-only shift rotation.

Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2-3 years of hospital-based CT experience for a weekend 12-hour day shift contract role.

• Hospital setting with 5 CT scanners
• Inpatient, outpatient, and ER patient population including occasional pediatric cases (teenagers)
• Procedures include general anatomy, calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head scans
• Also performs procedural work including biopsies and drains
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses GE equipment (GE Revolution and Evo preferred)
• EPIC EMR used
• 12-hour day shifts, Saturday/Sunday/Monday, 0730-2000
• No floating required
• No call requirements
• Weekend-only shift rotation

Additional Information

• Works alongside other CT techs, Radiology RNs, RRT, Code Blue team, and centralized transport staff
• Facility orientation consists of 3 shifts to learn unit flow
• Holiday coverage expected for 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
• Scrubs of any color accepted, except camo or denim

• Former employees of the health system must be separated at least 12 months before eligible for travel
• No radius restrictions; local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Facility adheres to a fatigue policy limiting staff to 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts
