Job Details

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled CT Tech for a 13‑week travel assignment in San Luis Obispo, California. You will work 40 hours per week in 8‑hour days, proving your expertise in CT imaging and collaborating closely with radiology staff.

Required Qualifications

Summary

The CT Tech operates computerized tomography scanners to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnostic purposes. They prepare patients, position them safely, follow imaging protocols, and work with radiologists to obtain high‑quality images, all while maintaining equipment, records, and radiation safety.

Essential Work Functions

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue
• Prepare patients, explain the process, and position them appropriately
• Set technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
• Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details in the system
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice

Required Essential Skills

• Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills
