Job summary

GLC On-The-Go is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a Watsonville, California assignment. The CT Tech will perform diagnostic CT and radiography examinations for diverse patient populations, including ED, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical cases.

As a night-shift technologist, you will manage contrast administration, radiation safety, and imaging workflow independently. Equipment includes a multidetector CT, digital radiography, C-arm fluoroscopy, and power injector, with orientation provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications are required.
• BLS and CRT certifications are required.
• 1 year CT/X-ray tech experience is preferred.
• Night shift, 40 hours per week on a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer contrast media.
• Perform CT and radiography examinations.
• Maintain radiation safety and venipuncture.
• Provide OR imaging support and fluoroscopy as needed.
• Conduct non-contrast and contrast-enhanced CT exams, including CT angiography.
• Handle trauma and stroke imaging.
• Administer IV contrast and screen patients.

Join a leading healthcare provider as a CT Tech in Watsonville, CA! We are seeking a skilled Rad Tech/CT professional to perform diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations for various patient types, including emergency department, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Radiation safety and venipuncture
• Perform portable radiography and provide operating room imaging support
• Assist with fluoroscopy as assigned
• Conduct non-contrast and contrast-enhanced CT, including CT angiography
• Handle trauma and stroke imaging
• Administer IV contrast and perform patient screening
• Ensure proper image transfer and documentation

As a night-shift technologist, you will need to work independently, prioritize emergent examinations, and communicate critical workflow concerns effectively. You will be utilizing digital radiography equipment, portable X-ray units, C-arm fluoroscopy equipment, a multidetector CT scanner, and a power injector, among other tools. Equipment-specific orientation will be provided.

Requirements:

• 1st TIME OK/1 YR EXP- CT/X Ray Tech
• Certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, CRT

Additional Information:

• RTO must be submitted up front
• Overtime after 8 hours (per CA law), after 40 hours, or after 48 hours on 48-hour contracts
• Call-off policy: 3 call-offs per 13-week assignment at no cost
• Holiday, overtime, and call back pay: 1.5x and 1.4x
