Job Details

• Education and Knowledge Requirements: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program. CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired or date of hire if primary registry is already obtained. 2 years of experience is required.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), Basic Life Support (BLS), PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73.
• Position Description: Performs computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast administration. Adjusts protocols as needed, ensures proper technique in venipuncture, and uses powered injector systems according to departmental and manufacturer protocols. Administers PO, rectal, and IV contrast media, assessing patient risk factors, and communicates effectively with patients and team members. Utilizes complex imaging equipment for data acquisition, analysis, and documentation, following all protocols. Properly identifies patients, reviews history, follows departmental protocols, and accurately documents all procedures.
• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Performs all duties in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
