Job Description & Requirements

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Lincoln, Nebraska. The position requires a 36‑hour work week on 12‑hour night shifts.

We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening. The right candidate must have at least 1 year of experience and meet the requirements below.

Responsibilities

As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for using CT equipment and ensuring images are accurate and passed on to physicians. You will also prepare and care for patients undergoing CT scanning.

Tasks

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
• Accurately interpret doctors’ written instructions.
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience.
• BLS, ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography, and state‑specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
