Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Hartford, Connecticut. The role involves operating CT imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and delivering quality diagnostic images within a 40-hour weekly schedule.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited Radiologic Technology degree with ARRT certification (CT preferred) and has 1–2 years radiologic experience. Night shifts (8 hours) are available for a 13-week contract with potential extension.

• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,378 - $2,604 per week*
• 15-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
