Responsibilities

• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment.
• Set equipment controls and monitor equipment and patients, making adjustments as necessary.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast when applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies to patient records.
• Operate power injectors for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment, providing timely and compassionate care.
• Promote and maintain a safe work environment, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
