Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Hartford, Connecticut. This position offers a 13-week contract with travel perks, 40 hours per week, and night shifts in a hospital setting.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification, a radiography license, and 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience with CT imaging knowledge. BLS is required, ACLS preferred, and a strong focus on patient safety and CT image quality.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license if applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred for some settings.
• 1–2 years Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain informed consent.
• Maintain radiation safety practices to protect patients and staff.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,360 - $2,586 per week*
• 15-week contract with possibility to extend
• NOC shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
