Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for assignments in Huntley, Illinois. This 13-week contract offers 40 hours per week, dayshift, with AM scheduling options for a hospital partner.

The ideal candidate has an accredited radiologic technology degree, ARRT certification (CT preferred), and 1–2 years of imaging experience. BLS is required, ACLS preferred, and an active state license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and ensure patient safety.
• Explain procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Maintain radiation protection practices and patient comfort.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,388 - $2,569 per week*
• 6-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
