Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The role offers 40 hours per week with a 10-hour shift and PM coverage. Start ASAP and travel experience is preferred.

Candidates should have an ARRT radiography credential (CT preferred), a radiologic technology degree, and an active state license if required. BLS is required with ACLS preferred, and 1–2 years of radiology experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or bachelor’s in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) with CT preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; CT imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain cooperation.
• Maintain radiation protection practices for patient safety.
• Evaluate CT images for technical quality.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details:

• $2,358 - $2,561 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• PM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
