Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT(R) and ARRT(CT) certification to support a community hospital's radiology department.

Details

• Work in CT Tech unit supporting adult and pediatric acute care, emergency department, and ICU patients
• Perform abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, and spine/musculoskeletal CT studies with and without contrast
• Perform colorectal studies with rectal contrast, vascular chest imaging (CTA, PE, aorta), and trauma head imaging
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Uses Siemens CT equipment
• Meditech charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• ARRT(R) required, ARRT(CT) preferred
• BLS certification required
• MN license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• X-ray experience required
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Proficient in multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and image post-processing

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across multiple anatomical regions including head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and spine
• Work alongside radiology team in a community hospital setting
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Travel experience preferred but candidates with extensive Siemens experience may be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
