Job summary

The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Washington, Indiana. This travel role covers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Start date 09/07/2026.

You will perform CT imaging, position patients, administer contrast, and ensure safety in a fast-paced clinical setting. ARRT certification and BLS are required, CT certification helpful. Qualifications

• Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field required.
• Completion of accredited radiologic technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• Advanced ARRT CT certification preferred or required by some employers.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Operate CT equipment to acquire high-resolution images.
• Administer contrast media under radiologist direction.
• Monitor patients during procedures for safety and imaging quality.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate patient records and regulatory documentation.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Maintain CT equipment and report issues.
• Stay updated on continuing education and industry best practices.

Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field

CT Technologist Job Description

Position Summary: A CT Technologist, or CT Tech, is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment. They play a key role in patient care by producing high-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring safety and comfort.


• Operate CT equipment to acquire high-resolution images.


• Administer contrast media under the direction of a radiologist or physician.


• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and proper imaging.


• Review and evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic quality.


• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards.


• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures.


• Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and healthcare teams.


• Maintain equipment and report any issues to ensure functionality and compliance.


• Stay updated on industry best practices and continuing education requirements.
