Supplemental Health Care is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a contract assignment in Owensboro, Kentucky. The role requires a Radiologic Technologist with ARRT credentials, 1–2 years of CT experience, and an active license where applicable.

Position details include 40 hours per week with a 10-hour shift, 13–14 week duration, and travel employment. A strong focus on patient safety, image quality, and compliance will be essential.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification; CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license where applicable.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of Radiologic Technologist experience; prior CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment and maintain patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and ensure comfort.
• Maintain radiation protection practices and safety protocols.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1-2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,180 - $2,366 per week*
• 14-week contract with possibility to extend
• PM shifts available

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
