Supplemental Health Care is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Rockport, Maine. 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, with start ASAP and possible extension. Travel contract offers competitive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You will work in a hospital setting, applying imaging expertise and patient-centered care. Required ARRT credentials, BLS, and 1–2 years CT/RT experience; CT certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state license for radiologic technology where applicable.
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years radiologic technologist experience; CT imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and protect patients.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,128 - $2,348 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• AM shifts available
• 36 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
