Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This role offers 40 hours per week on a 10-hour shift, with travel employment and the chance to work in a partnering hospital.

Responsibilities include performing CT imaging, maintaining patient safety, and communicating procedures. Requires ARRT certification, a radiologic technology degree, and BLS; CT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; CT imaging experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

CT Tech Contract Details

• $2,136 - $2,305 per week*
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• PM shifts available
• 40 hrs/wk

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
